Gas metal arc welder wanted in Edgecombe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
