Vacancy available: shuttering carpenter (New Mexico)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Sierra County, New Mexico. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
