Immediate opening: stainless steel welder (Kansas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
