Elevator repair technician wanted in Page County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Page County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
