Great opportunity: MIG welder (South Dakota)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Brule County, South Dakota. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
