Articulated lorry driver — Orangeburg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card On the job you will handle: • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
