Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Dallas County, Arkansas. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
