Gas commissioning technician wanted in Macoupin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Macoupin County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
