Cold room technician — Vale of Glamorgan

Now hiring: we are hiring a cold room technician in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will be based on a customer's rooftop chiller plant. The role involves: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Service split AC units and VRF systems Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. £2,250 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
