Immediate opening: we are hiring an ironing operator in Hardin County, Texas. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
