Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
