Immediate opening: we are hiring a chiller technician in Stanislaus County, California. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; service split AC units and VRF systems; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves.
