We are recruiting: we are hiring a beldar in Odukpani, Cross River State. What we are looking for: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors.
