Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Wilcox County, Alabama. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. The role involves load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
