Urgent requirement: garment machinist (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Caroline County, Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality 4+ years on the tools preferred.
