Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Grant County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile. Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors 1+ years on the tools preferred.
