Truck driver wanted in Wyandotte County

Now hiring: we are hiring a truck driver in Wyandotte County, Kansas. You will be based at a container freight yard. Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts You should have: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
