On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; stockpile and spread material to the required levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
