Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Iroquois County, Illinois. Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Part-time with flexible hours.
