Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Humboldt County, Nevada. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
