Glass fitter — Menard County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a glass fitter in Menard County, Texas. You will be based in a shopfront glazing company. Day to day you will apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; replace cracked or broken window panes; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame. Ideal candidate: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Own basic hand tools an advantage We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off.
