Great opportunity: plant operator (South Dakota)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. You will work on a housing development site. Day-to-day duties: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
