MIG/MAG welder • Mackinac County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Mackinac County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding On a typical shift you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
