Natural gas fitter • Rockbridge County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Rockbridge County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
