Great opportunity: we are hiring a hand presser in Highland County, Ohio. The job is at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
