We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Lee County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours You will erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
