Immediate opening: we are hiring a glass cutter in Polk County, Iowa. You will clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; install toughened and laminated safety glass; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades. Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
