Bar bender and fixer • Etche, Rivers State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Etche, Rivers State. On the job you will handle: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
