Port container crane operator wanted in Kit Carson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. The role involves hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Requirements: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
