Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Day-to-day duties: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns 2+ years on the tools preferred.
