Concrete labourer • North Tyneside, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in North Tyneside, England. You will be based on a residential housing site. Ideal candidate: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Your main tasks: • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker Six days a week, one day off.
