Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Scott County, Kentucky. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
