We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Carroll County, Illinois. You should have: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On a typical shift you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
