TIG welder wanted in Schoharie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Schoharie County, New York. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
