Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Fayette County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
