Great opportunity: industrial sewing operator (Sokoto State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Tureta, Sokoto State. The job is on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
