Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bench joiner in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings You will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish.
