Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Fillmore County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Fillmore County, Minnesota. You will work in a CNC machining unit. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed 6+ years on the tools preferred.
