Gang bricklayer — Tangipahoa Parish

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a commercial construction site. You will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
