Electrical maintenance fitter wanted in Watauga County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an electrical maintenance fitter in Watauga County, North Carolina. You will be based in a power distribution substation. The role involves run conduit, lay PVC trunking and clip cable; isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working; carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands; replace faulty switches, sockets and light fittings. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Normal colour vision for cable identification A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
