Occupational health and safety officer — Unicoi County

Join our team: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Unicoi County, Tennessee. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. You will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 3+ years on the tools preferred.
