Skimming plasterer wanted in Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Clay County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings What we are looking for: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
