Thermal insulation technician • Fountain County, Indiana

Join our team: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Fountain County, Indiana. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. Day-to-day duties: • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
