The role involves load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Ideal candidate: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
