Now hiring: ironing operator (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an ironing operator in Tattnall County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
