Furniture maker — Iowa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in Iowa County, Iowa. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level.
