Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Benton County, Washington. You will be based on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
