Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
