Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc turner in Kerr County, Texas. You will work in a job-work machining unit. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes 4+ years on the tools preferred.
