Fire and safety officer wanted in Johnson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Johnson County, Kentucky. Day to day you will enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
